Long Beach, CA
In summer 2018, I attended the Orange County Fair with my mother. As we sat down to eat, I saw someone I recognized at the table next to us and I realized it was my middle school friend, Jazmine! She noticed me too, and we conversed a little, exchanged Instagrams, and went our separate ways. I thought that would be the last time I'd hear from her, but we ended up messaging each other back and forth a bit and I found out that she's a photographer, too! She asked me to photograph her family's Christmas photos that year and of course, I was excited to be able to meet and photograph her family. She suggested this location in Long Beach, which I had passed by a hundred times, but never noticed, and it was a great spot for their shoot! Plus, I got to do some couples photos, which I had been dying to do and still would love to do more of.
